The tranny went out last week in my husband‘s 94 Chevy S-10. So we decided instead of continuing to invest the money, we would just see if we could find him something newer, and bigger since he is in the concrete business. I found a 2008 Chevy Silverado at Saylorsburg Auto Sales online in our price range. After inquiring about it, Doug return my phone call. Very nice, polite to speak with and was straight up forward about all the repairs it was going to need as well as the rust. It was a trade-in and that’s why it was a cash deal. The only problem was I must’ve put in the wrong ZIP Code and to come and find out it was 155 miles away from us. So in order to secure it until we could get out there, I had to put down a deposit. But so glad I did because several people came in attempting to buy it. So today we drove almost 3 hours to get there. My husband was very happy with it so we decided to go through with the purchase. Well upon payment we found out that they only except cash or certified checks from your bank. Well, it was 11:55 AM and our bank closes at 12 on Saturdays so we hit our first hiccup in the road, but Doug was persistent that we were leaving today with that truck!!! He called several people and found another way. Unfortunately we did have to go to Giant and purchase 14 money orders but we drove off the lot with it. We made it back home and so far, so good, knock on wood!🤞 The only thing that I can say I wasn’t pleased with was it wasn’t until upon signing the paperwork did we find out that the car previously was used as a rental vehicle, an I do feel as though that should’ve been disclosed to us in the beginning! I know beggars can’t be choosers so we continued to go through with the deal an I just hope that this truck will get my husband to and from every job site for years to come. At least until we can afford to actually get him a nicer work truck. Other than that and the certified check I have no complaints!!! Actually, I do have one more, I just wish they were closer!!! Doug was great an I’m just glad my husband has something to get him to and from work come Monday!!!

The best dealership I have been to, I got a really good car on the first visit. This place is a one stop shop allowing you to register the car you are buying on the same day. The dealers was were very informal on the cars I was looking at and had me drive off with a better car than I was planning to get.
